Creamy Pea Soup

Creamy Pea Soup

Recipe:

Serves 2

Cooking time: 10 minutes
 
Ingredients:
1 onion, diced (or 2 shallots if preferred)
50g/2oz butter
1 tin x Batchelors Processed Peas 420g 
600ml stock (vegetable or chicken)
200ml fresh cream
2 tbsp parsley, chopped (optional)

Method:
Sauté onion in the melted butter in a saucepan for approximately 2 minutes. Add Batchelors Processed Peas and cook for 4 minutes. Add the stock and cream and cook for 1 minute. Blend the soup in a food processor. Serve immediately in 2 bowls, garnished with chopped parsley (optional).
